Senyati Safari Camp

We went for an afternoon drive and drink to Senyati Safari Camp the past weekend.

We had such a perfect evening. Perfect light and just soo many elephants!

One of the most stunning colored birds in our part of the world.
It is almost a shock to see the bright red in the pale dry bush.

One does not realize how quick they can move on those short legs.

Dead Tree in Savute Channel

 

Savute Channel has not seen water for 32 years and there it is!!!!!!

Since February this year water is flowing into the marsh.

The whole area has been transformed into a paradise with a difference.
